Support for jobseekers

People with disability can be successful in all areas of the workforce and across all sectors. Like all employees, disabled workers have the potential to bring a range of skills, talents and abilities to the workplace. Increasingly, employers are understanding the benefits of having a diverse workforce.

The Disability Employment Network offers advice, support and assistance designed to meet the individual needs of disabled jobseekers. Through a network of providers and information provided in this section of the website, the Disability Employment Network offers:

  • help with job search, volunteering and work placements
  • cv writing
  • basic skills training or retraining
  • support with interviews
  • support for you and employer when in post
  • support with self employment
  • assistance with workplace adjustments
  • advice about your rights
