In order to provide as comprehensive a picture of available resources as possible, we are inviting individuals, projects, organisations, local forums, groups and committees to submit information to post here on the website. Each contribution will appear in the directory and have a dedicated webpage with images and links. The service is entirely free.

We will be grouping the directory under the following 4 headings:

In order to ensure the information remains up to date as the directory grows, we will include tools to enable each contributor to access, add and edit their own information. We hope that a well maintained comprehensive directory of provision will:

  • Promote individual organisations and their specialist services and facilities
  • Raise awareness of individual projects
  • Provide beneficiaries with easier and clearer access to provision
  • Assist in the process of quality referrals between organisations - saving both time and effort

Further benefits of the DSN directory will:

  • Assist statutory bodies, funders and those involved with economic regeneration to identify the gaps and opportunities in provision and its distribution
  • Help to bring outreach initiatives to the harder to reach audiences
  • Contribute to the development of collaborative partnerships
  • Provide access to key contact details in one place
